1. Kapok Pillow: The filling is kapok, which is relatively soft yet has a certain degree of firmness, and is relatively inexpensive.

2. Down Pillow: Usually filled with goose feathers or soft feathers from under the breast of a duck, it has a fluffy feel, a certain degree of softness and comfort, and good breathability. It can also regulate humidity and temperature to some extent. However, it is more expensive, and sometimes down feathers can cause allergies in some people.

3. Hollow Fiber Pillow: Filled with synthetic fibers. Hollow fibers are also known as "breathable fibers" because each fiber has several hollow channels. These hollow channels can retain more air. Commonly used are 4-hole and 7-hole hollow fibers. They are particularly soft and comfortable due to the large amount of air they retain, and they are also elastic (quickly returning to their original shape after pressure is released). They provide ample support and rest for the neck muscles, and their softness easily induces relaxation and promotes sleep. Hollow fiber pillows offer excellent breathability, preventing neck and shoulder rheumatism caused by dampness. They are also hypoallergenic, mildew-proof, and easy to clean.

4. Latex Pillows: The pillow core is made from natural latex in a single molding process. They are non-toxic, odorless, breathable, and hypoallergenic. High-quality latex pillows often have a shaping function, adjusting the pillow's support surface to fit the shape of the cervical spine and soft tissues, providing ample support for concave, flat, or slightly protruding areas of the neck. While latex pillows are more expensive, they are worth the price. Choose brands with high-quality materials and a good market reputation.

5. Orthopedic Pillows (or Cervical Pillows): These are "health pillows" introduced in recent years to prevent and treat cervical spondylosis. This type of pillow has several characteristics: First, it has a curved shape. The pillow core is designed to conform to the physiological curvature (arc) of the cervical spine. Some cervical pillows are relatively long, with several different curve shapes on both sides, allowing the sleeper to choose the one that suits their neck curvature. Second, the pillow core supports the entire cervical spine, even in concave areas, which helps maintain the natural curvature of the cervical spine, allowing the neck muscles to relax and rest, eliminating or reducing neck muscle tension, and relieving soreness. Third, the pillow core has good breathability, keeping the pillow dry and preventing dampness from aggravating neck muscle discomfort.
