Lay the waterproof changing pad flat under the baby, ensuring it covers areas that may get wet. Make sure the absorbent layer is facing up and the waterproof layer is facing down to prevent urine leakage.
If the baby is very active, choose a product with anti-slip texture or straps to better secure it to the mattress and prevent it from shifting.
Avoid letting the baby directly touch the edges of the waterproof changing pad to prevent skin irritation. Before use, check for any damage or irritating materials. When washing washable pads, avoid using strong bleach to prevent damaging the waterproof layer. Disposable waterproof changing pads should not be reused; change them promptly after they become wet. In hot weather, observe the baby for rashes caused by the pad feeling stuffy; reduce the usage time if necessary. If the baby has sensitive skin, you can place a layer of pure cotton gauze on top of the pad to increase breathability.
